How do you attach gas pipe, refrigeration lines or electrical lines to the block?
Attaching to the block is simple. Just like a wood block, you can use standard clamps or threaded rod which will allowed the installer to alter the slope as required. The applications are limitless.

No special screws or tools to secure the pipe to the block?
The block is made from high density polyethylene and any #10 or 12 screw will do but caution should be used because excessive torque will cause the screw to spin, but under normal installation the block will hold any screw.

What are the weight limitations of the Quick Block?
The block is guaranteed to support up to 475 pounds over its life

Will the block withstand themperture extreme?
The block plastic material has been chosen to withstand temperatures beyond the capabilities of most roofing materials. This material is used for safety helmets to garbage bins so the roof will have problems from temperature before the Best Block.

What is the life expectancy of the block?
The Best Block comes standard with a Limited Lifetime Warranty and will outlast most roofs available.

Engineers acceptable?
Engineers have accepted the Best Block greatly all over North America. Also Approval of the Best Block gas codes is that the gas pipe must be supported off of the roof and does not specify the required techniques.

The Best Block is made of two parts: the top which is a made of molded High Density Polyeylene and the base made from 1" extruded closed cell pink polystyrene. The base Celfort 300 closed cell extruded polystyrene with a compression value of 20 psi. The material manufactured Dow

The block design maximizes the support strength while reducing the overall weight. The interior allow for expansion and contraction of the block under extreme conditions. The polystyrene is slightly smaller to handle temperature change.

The lower portion of the Best Block we have incorporated a 7/8" high wall which acts to retain the extruded polystyrene base and limit UV exposure of the Foam base.
